[TRANS] Tohoshinki’s Interview in Ray April ‘09 (Changmin’s Close Up)

Summary: Introduction of Singapore Chicken Rice (T/N: Singapore-Hainanese Chicken Rice, though I don’t think you cook the dish by putting chicken and rice in the rice cooker xD) Changmin also has a special close up section.

Singapore Chicken Rice

If you want to have a supple body, you’ll need enough proteins.Therefore, we’ll release THSK’s recommended recipe, they who care a lot about having a manly body.

YH: This is the first time we’ll be introducing this, it’s a healthy chicken breast meat recipe. Since we won’t use any oil in the preparation of this food, it makes it even more healthy.

CM: Putting the meat with rice in the rice cooker will make the meat very tender.

JS: Since there wasn’t any oil used in the preparation of this dish, I was really surprised when it turned out this delicious

JJ: This seems to be one of Singapore’s famous dish. Even though we didn’t get to eat it when we went there.

YC: Since Asia seems to be full of delicious food, eating this will make your tour happier.

YH: I really liked the fish dish I ate in Thailand. It was like atka mackerel and when dipped in transparent sauce…

CM: If you go to Taiwan you must definitely eat xiaolongbaos (mandoos with soup in it, gyozas with soup in it) ! All of us love it.

JJ: If we go to Singapore this time, let’s eat this.

YC: Although it’s nice to eat it in restaurants, you can try adding your own flavor to it if you make it at home. I think it’ll be great eating this for supper.

JS: Wouldn’t it be great eating it on a rainy, quiet night?

CM: Junsu just wants to recommend this solo number [Rainy Night], right?

JS: Ah, I got caught *laughs* But really, breathing in the fragrance of jasmine rice with nice food, I think it’d be great listening to a quiet song.

JJ: So, how about my [Wasurenaide]? You can quietly appreciate the sad lyrics.

YH: That’s good. It’s in our newest single. So let’s just do this.

YC: Yah~ Although it’s regrettable, all of us have agreed on this song *laughs*

JJ: Ah, Junsu, sorry! It’s okay, all of us have decided this recipe suits [Rainy Night]!

This month’s close-up! Changmin.The youngest yet the always calm Changmin.He tells us his 5 secrets to his calm manners.

1. Pizza I’ve always loved eating pizza since I was in kindergarten. I love those with loads of cheese. Although I want to order take-out pizza, but I’m afraid that the members will eat everything and not leave any for me.

2. Raul MidonHe’s a Mexican guitarist based in America. I really want to be like him so I’ve been practicing how to play the guitar on my own

3. Home Home is a place where you can rest/recuperate. It’s a place where I can calm myself down. If I don’t have anything special going on during my breaks, I’d like to spend them freely at home

4. Time I want to do things but I don’t have enough time for them. I like reading. I’ll read anything from novels to poems if I have the time

5. Having a easy/composed mindsetSince I’m really busy so it’s important to have such a mindset. I guess this is why I’ve been more interested in reading recently

[News] SM Being Friendly, Tohoshinki Got Unbanned from Music Station

After SMAPxSMAP show was announced, we all know that Johnny’s Entertainment, the biggest artists management in Japan who owns mostly all Japanese pretty boys groups such as SMAP, Kat-tun, NewS, and Arashi, is finally taking down his war flag.

I should remind you about the biggest evidence of how JE seems to harden each and every steps of Tohoshinki in their Japan career:

No matter how many times Tohoshinki topped ORICON chart in both daily and weekly, one of the most prestigious music show in Japan - MUSIC STATION never even once, invites the boys in.

According to S-San’s Blog (a Japanese staff member for TVXQ/Tohoshinki/DBSK) the rumor that TVXQ has been blocked from Music Station was confirmed. On his blog he wondered why TVXQ was on Music Station’s #1 list this week, yet weren’t invited to perform.

Music Station is a highly popular music show in Japan, similar to MTV’s TRL here in the States.
Rumors and conspiracy theories were created when TVXQ received many #1’s on both the Oricon Daily and Weekly charts, yet weren’t invited to the Music Station show. Almost every other artist who were in the top 10 let alone the artists who’ve reached #1 were invited to perform. Many people believe the reason for this is because Johnny’s Entertainment has a secret pact with Music Station.

Some people think that TVXQ poses a threat to Johnny’s therefore the non-invites.
However, things seem to get better now!As a new schedule from the boys finally releases and it says:

Friday, March 6th20:00 Asahi TV “MUSIC STATION“They will perform! Please wait for it!
FINALLY.Why does JE change by the way?Well, who knows? But SM has been so deserving to JE in promoting JE’s artists such as Kinki Kids and Kat-tun in South Korea, so maybe that’s the case.

Chunnie's story!

I will compose the one and only song for you. I’ll give you our home in Aoyama.”

“For example, her BIRTHDAY. First, I will rent a restaurant. The place… yeah, Aoyama where it’s near hills, and not a very noisy place.

I will set a dinner for two, and escorts her. I want us to enjoy our meal slowly by talking things to each other. Normally I can’t talk slow, but at that day, I want to talk with minds, and when our stomatch are already full, I will hand her present.

The gift is not a good, I’ll give her my song.

Then, using piano, I will play the song which has rhythm that can makes her relax. Eventhough it’s quite embarassing, I want to insert a narration, thus the entire song will be like a LOVE LETTER which (I hope) will leaves a huge impression on her..

The warm feeling she would feels… I want to sing a song like a lullaby.

I’d like to have a girl that you can imagine her having a family, having her own child, it’s really good. Often people says “so you want a girl that can cook,”. Eventhough I would like if she can, but I don’t hardly require such skill on my girl.

For example, she may not usually cooks, but she would cook whens she’s happy. Other than that, I’m moved too for only small things she does, such as serving meal, places her hand on her chest properly when she bows, just small things like that.

Somehow I feel she’s just nice (by doing such attitudes), thus makes me giving her a song to make her happy.

As a gift, I also want to go together with her at some places.

Japan’s hot springs in Hakone, pretentious Shimogyo Dana, I want to visit those places.
Taken her at such places, I don’t want anything in return, but her smiley face showing that she likes it.”

“Today, I’m your very own personal cameraman, and I won’t miss any look.”

“Two people who have been so busy, but at one time when we’re both get some free time, I really want to go to the sea in Okinawa. Only bring minimum luggage along and also my favorite camera. I always love camera ever since junior high. I loved to bring my digital camera when was walking around and took pics of my surroundings…

I have a camera for professional. With that camera, I’d love to take pic of my smiling girlfriend. And also a picture of us wearing couple outfits… it might turn to be a quite good picture!! ~
The couple outfits are just simple ones… For example like the denim jeans I wear today, if my girlfriend have the same color denim skirt like my jeans…

Denim mini skirt, I really like girl wearing mini skirt~ … ah, I think I’m quite off topic (laughs)
I like a date that has active atmosphere. Thus, if she can accompanies me playing marine sport, it would be good. I really want to see my girlfriend smiling and looking so excited, then I will take a picture of her laughing to be shown to her (laughs)

If the two of us could be together for a long time, forever.. just like a photograph, where happy memories of two people can be kept at it.

If you don’t have time, you don’t need to go to Okinawa. Just going anywhere at night time will works too.

You can see a beautiful night scenery while you’re walking. Still holding the camera… I will always bring my digital camera, eventhough not the professional one, digital camera will take good pictures as well.

In fact, once when I worked in Japan, I took a beautiful picture of sea in Okinawa at night from Rainbow Bridge. Unfortunately, the picture’s models are my TVXQ members (laughs)”
