On February 2nd, JYJ's Kim Junsu successfully premiered the first show of his second musical, Tears of Heaven. Last year, Junsu participated in his musical debut, "Mozart", which received commercial success as well as critical acclaim. His powerful stage presence and perfect vocals earned him the "Male Rookie Award" at the 2010 Musical Awards.
News of Junsu landing the leading role on a Broadway musical came out in December 2010, and with quick progress, an open rehearsal was held in early January 2010. When tickets went on sale, fans went into a frenzy and all tickets were sold out within minutes. After the first show, those in attendance gave Junsu positive reviews and some audience members were even seen crying.
