Alexander Eusebio Reveals His Philippine Connection

U-Kiss member says his great grandfather was from RP

Boy band U-Kiss member Alexander Eusebio revealed that his great grandfather was a Spanish from the Philippines.

Fans have been speculating that Alexander was partly Pinoy because of his looks and his surname.

The boy band held their first concert in the Philippines last June 14, and during Alexander’s solo spot, he said that his being a Eusebio was courtesy of his great grandfather.

“My great grandfather gave me this surname and he was a Spanish blood descendant from the Philippines. He went to the Philippines, he went to Spain, [and] he went to Hong Kong. And then here I am,” he said.

The speculation about Alexander’s lineage started during the group’s first visit to the Philippines last March.

Thousands of fans watched the concert and were happy to see U-Kiss again. Armed with banners and photos of the boy band, the fans screamed, cheered, and even danced as U-Kiss enthralled the audience with their performance.

In the concert, U-Kiss performed their songs including “Bingeul Bingeul” and “Man Man Ha Ni.”

One of the highlights of the concert was when U-Kiss sang “Bebot,” a cut from Black Eyed Peas’ “Monkey Business” album, referring to a pretty Filipino woman.

After the concert, U-Kiss thanked their fans for their support.

“Time to go back to Korea~ Enjoyed so much in Philippines! Unforgettable memory! Thank u so much Pinoy KISS-ME! Love y'all!!” tweeted Alexander.

“I had an AWESOME time at our concert. Our Pinoy fans were an amazing crowd~~! I will never forget our memories together,” added Kevin.

From the Philippines, U-Kiss went home to Korea. They will go to Malaysia and Singapore this month.
