TVXQ “Stand By You” debuts at number 2, big sales

TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki's newest Japanese single, "Stand By You" debuted at number 2 on the Oricon Daily Singles chart today with a sales figure of a whopping 94,838 units! Arashi was the only one who beat them by releasing "Everything," Arashi had a sales figure of 135,053 units! There was a big dropoff after these two heavyweights as 3rd place "C-ute" only achieved a sales figure of 13,446 units.

Even though TVXQ didn't come in first, they should be extremely excited. You have to keep in mind that their previous releases had no where near 100,000 sales for the first day. Their previous release, "Share The World" had around 58,000 sales on their first day and around 98,000 for the first week. This new single almost achieved the previous weekly figure in a day.
