Super Junior M's seven members are officially joining the Pepsi family on April 28th. Always said to be filled with major celebrities, the Pepsi Family finally announced their line-up for 2009. In 2008, Jolin Tsai, Louis Koo, Lee Junki, Huang Xiao Ming and Alan Luo, from China, Taiwan, Korean, as singers, actors on big screen and small screen, these major stars formed the family. The Pepsi Family list were always aimed at Asia's major stars, and the media and fans all eargerly anticipate the quickly rising to fame Super Junior M.
In February, Pepsi secretly took the team to Thailand to film the commercial, using over 50 celebrity body guards and local police. 200 well-informed fans stood to watch on a nearby hilltop. Thus Super Junior M's addition to the family was leaked out, though neither parties (SJM or Pepsi) responded to this. With almost 2 months of preparation, it's finally time. The Chinese Pepsi department announced on April 28th they will hold a press conference announcing Super Junior-M's addition, with Super Junior-M officially added to the Blue Blood Family.
The marketing department of the Chinese Area of Pepsi announced on various channels "Apart from the five current members of the family, Louis Koo, Jolin Tsai, Alan Luo, Huang Xiao Ming and Lee Junki, after nine months of assessing, Super Junior M will follow F4, and become the second male group to join the Pepsi Family. It has been assessed that the 2009 Pepsi media will improve. The Pepsi Family are very keen on team spirit and in order to overcome a Chinese-Korean collaboration, Super Junior M became an un-missable choice for Pepsi. At the same time, they broke the nine stars family* record, and became the strongest line up ever in Pepsi's history."
Super Junior M's leader Han Geng expressed "I remember when we were first organised to meet with Pepsi, the seven of us were extremely hyper and nevous. We also discussed our favourite Pepsi advert for days. This really is a big honour and encouragement to Super Junior M!"
Si Won: "Actually, our hyung, Lee Teuk, will also be filming an advert for Pepsi in Korea. Therefore we were also looking forward for a chance (to film the commercial), it was almost one of our targets, can't believe our dream came true!"
Henry: "It's exciting that the first time we work with Pepsi that its a major production. Pepsi said it's on a grander scale than the nine stars of Jordan... also being able to work with Louis Koo, Jolin Tsai, Lee Junki, Alan Luo and Huang Xiao Ming, these five major stars.** I remember during those few days of filming we were all extremely high/hyper. They also teamed up together to play tricks on me."
Another member Zhou Mi seemed really excited "Can we really say it now? That's great!
