
American People’s magazine has recently introduced Korean singers like Se7en, BoA and the WonderGirls in an article ‘Coming to America, Asian Pop Stars’.
The 4 Asian stars that the article mentioned are Japanese Utada Hikaru, Korea Se7en, BoA and WonderGirls. Utada Hikaru as “a lightweight Mariah Carey, with fluffy lyrics”. The next singer the article talked about is Se7en, he was described as “the Asian answer to Justin Timberlake“. And his debut single ‘Girls’ featuring Lil Kim was also briefly introduced.
While BoA was described as ‘Asia’ Britney Spears‘. The article identifies BoA’s key American track to be ‘I did it for love’ produced by Sean Garrett.
Group WonderGirls is nicknamed “the younger version of the Spice Girls“, it also provided that the group will release an English version of one of their Asia hits ‘Nobody’ next month in U.S.
