With all the Cass VS VIP battles this will be a treat. I think it's time everyone join hands. The boys will so ashamed of some of us. tsk tsk!
-- Top singers Rain, DBSK, Big Bang, Girls’ Generation, and Wonder Girls will join forces to promote globalization of Korean music. The 5 bands have been appointed by Minister Yoo of Ministry of Culture and Tourism, perhaps while he was having a fit of Korean Pride. The exact plan of action will be revealed on February 4th at the SM Entertainment headquarters. So far, all we know is that the groups will be working together throughout the year as leaders of the Korean music industry to globalize Korean music. Smells very JYP-ish, did he somehow infiltrate the government and take control to launch this mission?

“Those working in the music industry will come together with the government, in order to encourage globalization of Korean music.”
No one can be sure of what this means for our favorite bands or what the plans will include, but it seems that the government is taking an active part in spreading Korean music to different cultures. One can only hope the government is genuinely interested in using the singers to increase awareness of Korean culture rather than acting out of greed for foreign markets *cough JYP cough* -- allkpop
I wonder what they mean by Global. I would be sad if it only consists east Asia. It's about time they have concerts in USA.
