Dbsk dream: TVXQ 5th Anniversary

Changmin really said it best when he said,
"Only when the five of us are together, are we called TVXQ!"

Mitz-unnie, I feel, should be the one doing this.. as this past year has been the result of her hard work in bringing TVXQ/DBSK that much closer to us. I have only pitched in the work for the latter half of 2008.. and fangirlmitz had been a baby TVXQ blog from the beginning, and had grwon through you guys' help. In behalf of mitz-unnie for whom the blog namesake is taken, and of our co-author Ramin who I think has something planned for today as well, I'd like to make the first post for the 5th Anniversary-related day xD

From 2003 Hug debut to 2008's MIROTIC, they have never ceased to show amazing talent and release hit after hit of songs.

I was first introduced to DBSK through a friend who was a fan of Korean singers back in 2005. I didn't pay them any attention except perhaps comment to my friend that the guy in the middle (Jae in his long-haired SMART CF days) look like a total pretty boy. LOL I remember her saying there are so much fans of YunJae and she wants to make me be a JaeMin fan. Sadly, almost 3 years later I got into the bandwagon due to the couple she despised xD My biggest regret was not asking my friend if I can listen to their songs, because if then I had heard them sing and dance I would have fallen, and not too late. I literally missed them visiting the country back in 2006.. so.. *headdesks for that*

Needless to say, being a fan late in 2007 (Around October, which I found out the same time Mitz-unnie became a fan too).. four years since their debut was a bit of a trouble since I had four years of shows, songs, perfs, dramas and stuff to catch up on. Thank goodness that SMEnt had the prescence of mind to put out these All About TVXQ DVDs for the noob fan like me. I sincerely recommend it (especially Season 2) for all you newbies in the fandom. If you don't have a copy yet, every TVXQ fan must have one xD Aside from "Dangerous Love", a few scans of "Bonjour Paris" and the "Purple Line" song (yes I became a fan THAT late) I didn't know anything about them.. and AADBSKS2 made me fall in love, all over again. I managed to distinguish who's who thanks to it, and get about all of their popular songs hum-mable in my head~

I can't say it was "love" at first sight.. no, it was more of the first impression, an impression so lasting even three years after it came back to haunt me *laughs* I never would have expected.. meeting so many amazing people in the fandom.. spending hours catching up to them..

YunJae was my first love, Yunho was my first crush due to his amazing humility and greatness in keeping TVXQ! on top despite hardships. Love in the Ice [Soul Power Ver] will always be my fave song of all time. They deserve every award and recognition they get, and I love how they teach their fans how to give. With Ye Eun, with Yunho rejecting the gifts, with Junsu's fans donating.. it's very heartwarming.

All the other four grew on me though. You can't like one without inevitable having all the other four grow on you xD Even your least fave member will have that moment wherein he is your most fave. Their songs are spectacular, their moves are unbeatable, and their charisma.. oh, I really think it's their x-factor that made them have the biggest fandom in Guiness World Record.

Ramin and perhaps some of our affie blog admins would agree with me that there came a time when you just have to distance from them, when updating became too much. Then I would think, what must it be like for these five boys-turned-men who had been doing all of these things non-stop for five years now. I think what is good about having a DBSK daily updates blog is that it gives you a feel of what it's like to have their schedule and follow them. Seeing them after missing them is the best because you fall for them all over again. That's why I really hope that they get even a short vacation for this 5th Anniversary.. sadly, that doesn't seem to be the case just looking at our calendar. *sigh* LSM-sshi, please hear our plea.

I couldn't say for forever, but as long as there's DBSK there will be fangirlmitz. We are all united under one star, Cassiopeia, BigEast, every single TVXQ fan around the world.
