' Paradise Ranch' has remained a popular topic of discussion since the beginning of the year. As of January 2011, it will be aired on SBS, after 'It's Okay, Daddy's Girl'.

As a romance story set in Jeju Island and starring TVXQ's Choikang Changmin and Lee Yeon Hee, 'Paradise Ranch' has garnered a substantial amount of interest as Changmin's debut piece. Due to issues with production, a broadcast date was not finalized until very recently.

[TRANS] Uknow Yunho-Choikang Changmin Rearranged DBSK With 2 Members, Chances of Success?

Fans’ anticipation is getting higher after it was informed that the rearranged DBSK with 2 members are having a comeback. It’s good news for the fans who have been thirsting for Uknow Yunho’s and Choikang Changmin’s comeback.

Through DBSK’s official homepage, SM Entertainment (herein SM) made an official announcement on the 23rd that “In 2011, DBSK will be returning to your side.”

After the 3 members’ immediate withdrawal from the team, Uknow Yunho and Choikang Changmin have refrained from activities for a long period of over a year. However, it was revealed that the decision for a comeback was made thanks to the support and love of the fans.

Kim Jae Joong, Park Yoochun, and Kim Junsu are currently in the middle of activities as JYJ and SM has had no responses from them as to the proposed activities as DBSK.

Accordingly, fans’ attention is focused on how great of a stride Uknow Yunho and Choikang Changmin will make.

First, Choikang Changmin will make a splendid debut as an actor in the January 2011 SBS’s ‘Paradise Meadows’. ‘Paradise Meadows’ which will air after ‘It’s okay, daddy’s daughter’ has already received lots of attention before the broadcast due to the open filming at Jejudo’s background. Of course, the part that is anticipated is the sweet and lovely acting with Lee Hyun Hee.

Uknow Yunho, dreaming of a new leap forward, has joined a large-scale production. Uknow Yunho, Kim Kang Woo, Eric, and Kim Ok Bin, etc. have been cast in the Coast Guard drama ‘Poseidon’. Starring in last year’s MBC TV’s ‘Heading to the Ground’, he will return to the small screen after 2 years. If he gives as much to his role as being able to boast that he has been cast to be part of a splendid work/drama, it is anticipated that Uknow Yunho’s activities will expand befitting the reputation of DBSK.

[TRANS] 101126 JYJ World Wide Concert Performing in Dome

JYJ (Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu) will be holding their first world wide concert ‘JYJ Worldwide Concert in Seoul’ in Seoul Jamsil Olympic Stadium which would be transformed to a dome with the roof covered.

On the 20th the organizer stated, “JYJ first worldwide concert in Seoul would be covered with a roof to solve the problem about the weather and sound quality which always happen with outdoor performance stages yet at the same time, giving the best stage to the fans in Jamsil Olympic Stadium.”

The stadium would be covered like a dome to maximize the lightning effect as well as the sound quality compared to a open outdoor performance which have these as their weak points.

Despite the cold weather on the day of the event (it’s winter when the concert is going to hold), fans will be able to enjoy the show warmly in the dome.

The dome is being constructed with a new, safer kind of textile fabric (as opposed to traditional steel cables). Jamsil Olympic Stadium is the first domed theater of this magnitude in Korea, even on a global scale few other performance halls have adopted such a unique, lightweight construction method.

C-JeS Entertainment, reports that “No doubt this concert will be the best show ever, featuring the best quality of stage presentation, production, and sound.” The agency goes on to say that it will do its best to “provide audience members with the most unforgettable concert experience of their lives."

The JYJ Worldwide Concert in Seoul will be directed by Jeri Slaughter, a well-known concert producer who has worked with international stars Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez and Christina Aguilera.

Tickets for the concert has been selling fast. At the first-round of pre-sale ticket buying on Interpark website on October 19th, seats were sold out in just 20 minutes. The popularity of the K-pop sensation was proved once again when another batch of 20,000 tickets was also sold out in a second pre-sale ticket buying.

The JYJ Worldwide Concert in Seoul is a two-day event that will be held on November 27th and 28th with a total seating of 100,000 (50,000 for each show).

Alexander & Eli "Tower Records 1 day Store Managers", a long queue

On last 24th, the members of Korean popular boy group , Alexander and Eli visited Tower Records Shibuya Store as "1 day store managers". In order to receive the valuable name cards from the 2 managers, 500 fans formed a long queue.

When the 2 store managers appeared in the event venue, they were welcomed by applause and great cheers from the fans crowded there. Alexander who expressed his words of gratitude in English said, "I'm very happy to have many fans gathered". And, looking with delight at fans' handmade placards, the figure of Eli who waved and smiled was impressive.

During of the main event, the name cards were hand delivered from the 2 to 500 lucky people who had the tickets. For fans who visited, they could not suppress their excitement when looking up closely at the "good-looking store managers". On the other hand, Alexander and Eli who were able to interact directly with the Japanese fans, also exchanged greetings with fans which firmly boosted the major role as "1 day store managers".

The release of long awaited Japan's first album [First Kiss] has been decided on 10th Dec. On 9th Dec, for a special event where all members will be gathered at Tower Records Shibuya store again, is also holding their individual live concert in Tokyo and Osaka in the same month as well. Attention is gathered whether they will become 'Eye of The Storm' of Japan's music scene in the future.

Sungmin Talks About His First Acting Gig in “President”

Super Junior’s Sungmin has expressed his thoughts about acting in the new KBS2 Wednesday-Thursday drama, “President”.

On November 25th, Sungmin said, “I appeared in a mini-drama and musicals before, but this is the first time that I will be acting in a traditional drama that President is almost like my first acting gig. I feel like I inherited great fortune because I am able to work with serious actors in my first work.

He added, “My character is someone who is not wise about the world, but has a big desire to succeed. I’ve thought a lot about how to act a character who’s an immature son. It’s burdensome to be filming with great actors. When I first acted, I was so nervous that my hands were shaking. After the filming ended, my whole body was aching.”

Lastly, Sungmin said, “Even though my body is fatigued, my mind is happy. I am looking forward to receiving assessment on actor Sungmin. I hope everyone becomes interested in the drama.”

The character that Sungmin will play is Jang Sungmin who possesses a sense of inferiority about his strong and passionate father because he has weak personality.

Meanwhile, President will air its first episode on December 8th.

Kim Heechul To Be Featured In Defcon’s song “Kingwangjjang”

Super Junior’s Kim Heechul has participated in Defcon’s new single “Kingwangjjang”.

Defcon’s management company Di Music revealed on November 25th, “Kim Heechul wrote the rap to the song and is featured in the song. It is the first time that they have worked together.”

“Kingwangjjang”, a song that has strong beats is about regaining modern people’s confidence. Two people have surpassed their each position as an idol and a hip hop artist to experiment with music. They believe that the song will appeal to people with its different style of music.
