[Trans] B-Pass Magazine November issue – Jejung & Yuchun
At Tohoshinki’s Tokyo Dome performance on July 4th – 5th, for the first time the warm and beautiful song “COLORS ~ Melody and Harmony ~” was disclosed. The song will be included in the new single “COLORS ~ Melody and Harmony ~ / Shelter ” by the special unit under the name “JEJUNG & YUCHUN (from Tohoshinki)” that is going to release on September 30th. We will reveal the production of this piece to the ordinary composition experience, thorough an in-depth interview with both of them.
- Is this the first song that both of you composed together?
JJ: Until now actually we have frequently done composing music together. This is only one of them. However this is the first song which in its composing period, after we had the inspiration then naturally the melody composition came only in a short time.
- What was the theme in your mind when you’re writing the song?
JJ: Because this song was specially written for Tokyo Dome concert, therefore we deliberately composed a song that is easy to be remembered once it’s listened so that everyone may be able to sing along with us together. The content of the themes in this song is also a result from keywords, and we also invited HUB to write lyrics that can summarize our feeling to this song.
YC: The so-called keywords here is our fans demand. This song is not merely a love song to convey feeling only to somebody, but a kind of love song that can transmits a broader love feeling towards everything.
JJ: as expected, this kind of cheerful song can be sung together with everyone and the gentle feeling of this song is also very good.
YC: Furthermore, as Jejung and I always talk one to another, we hope that we can sing this song with our heart that is filled with love and gratitude.
- Speaking of two people who compose music together, we’re very interested with the situation at that time. Do you have different ways in composing song?
JJ: Yes. I have a lot of ways in composing. Sometimes I start by arranging the whole tune first, yet sometimes I start by composing the melody first. In another time I start writing by thinking about the background story of the song first. It changes depending on the mood.
- How bout composing instruments?
YC: Sometimes I use personal computers and in another chance I use variety of musical instruments. Since the composition method will vary according to different circumstances, so the use of equipments is also based on it.
- How do you learn your composition method?
YC: I don’t learn about it specifically.
JJ: Me too.
YC: The beginning of us starting to compose music was sometime after we just arrived in Japan for the first time. Because at that time we happened to not having too much work, we had so much idle time in our hands. Therefore, we started to buy some equipments bit by bit and started composing music.
JJ: And since then, we had slightly our own composition style. However, sometimes we used the same composition equipments, though (laughs). The same equipment, the same musical instrument, the same guitar, the same computer, and the same composing procedure.
- Really!?
YC: the keyboard is not the same!
JJ: Only that one (laughs). But because most of them are the same, since then we have gradually revealed our emotional personality to each other.
YC: Yet still turning to a completely different colors ahead on.
JJ: Although when we use the same sound, but the atmosphere of music each of us created in the end turns it into a completely different song.
YC: Yes. Since then, the music which we listen and the emotional approach of our composition method come really different.
- Now that you have mentioned about the story of your equipments, then you both rooms that have been piled up with equipments must be looking similar then?
JJ: Yeah~ everywhere is electrical wires. Those equipments spread out heat (laughs).
At night when the room lights turned off, these equipments really don’t look good at all. I’m pretty much fussing about it. Because the selection of equipment we might use necessarily must consider the contour design of the equipment, and the sound quality is also very important, therefore when storing them in the room, should as well considering how to put them in a good structure.
YC: When seeing a room that is filled with equipments, there can be a strong feeling of “let’s do some compositions”.
JJ: I also want some new equipments.
- However, since the manual of new equipment seems as thick as a dictionary, after the buying, won’t it very much troublesome?
JJ: I have never read any manuals (laughs). I found out the operation method of the equipment by myself, and gradually remembered it.
- The song that is composed in equipment room, won’t be any third party that mutually listen to it?
YC: I will let other people to listen to it. When someone just finish creating a song, mostly they always want someone to listen to it.
- (regarding each other self-composed song) what kind of impression do you have?
YC: Has much in taste. Definitely you could feel a kind of metropolis night’s atmosphere in it. I myself nearly never use any sound effect process, while he uses various sound effects, therefore there is an electronic style feeling.
JJ: Yuchun’s song absolutely takes piano sound as its main melody, really has a Yuchun-kind of feeling.
YC: because I like music without editing its original sound. In short, a song that is filled with an evening’s atmosphere.
JJ: Well, since they’re all composed in the evening anyway (laughs). Moreover, I do arrangement only in the evening when my attention is most able to concentrate. At that time, I can even only stare at the surface of dark computer screen.
- That’s how you composed “COLORS ~ Melody and Harmony ~”?
JJ: It has a daytime melody, meanwhile the arrangement was done by me at night.
- What does become the keypoint of this song?
JJ: The melody composition is very simple, this is the most important part. However, in order to avoid to be an over-simple and seemed a bit monotonous, we pay special attention when was creating this part.
- Then what kind of feeling do you have towards the song’s lyrics?
JJ: It just matches the song atmosphere right away. HUB is really great~ I especially like the bridge part. Especially when singing that part, the mood turns really good.
YC: As for me, I prefer the lyrics in the B-part of the melody, when I’m singing it, I think the mood turns better while flowing to the final part.
- Now can you tell us your impression to the other song, “SHELTER”?
JJ: This is the first song in which Yuchun has a lot of great rap part. Almost about half of the song is rap, I really like it. About the title “SHELTER”, well… it actually means as “shelter (a hiding place)”. But through this song, that word displays another meaning. It’s somekind of “protection” meaning. The lyrics of this song was co-written by HUB and Yuchun.
YC: This song is co-composed and arranged by Jejung and I together in completion. Therefore it’s filled with a variety of individual elements, even when we haven’t a PV for this song, I hope the meaning of the song can be well understood.
- This song is also arranged by Jejung. Seems that Jejung has already become a true arranger.
JJ: No no (laughs)
- You must have become an expert soon!
JJ: This is just by chance (laughs). Only the opportunity is quite good.
- Jejung already has a good arranger ability which can be trusted.
YC: Eh~ he’s indeed…. very good~ (explode in laughter)
JJ: When the editing finished and I showed the song to Yuchun, I was really nervous. Whether it’s still lacking on something, but we’re very clear to each other.
- So, in compared to 100,000 people who actually become the first audiences of this song’s performance, indeed you both consider your counterpart as the first audience?
YC: Yes. Because only when listening to each other’s feeling, there would be a better improvement in communication between us. Therefore each of us is the first audience to each other.
JJ: In arranging, recording, mixing, there is a continuous process of improvement, by asking for a mutual confirmation like “if it sounds like this, is it alright?” by time, we can gradually create a good song. That’s why in order to make more people would say “It sounds good…”, I try to constantly increase the quality of my composition.
YC: Then, I want to try composing a song with terrorist feeling and a gentle rock and roll!

“Why do people think badly of singers going into acting?” This question came from a 20-year-old young man.
FT Island’s vocal Lee Hongki is acting once again, after a period of 5 years.
He introduces himself as Jeremy, a British-Korean from a royal family, in the upcoming SBS drama “You’re Beautiful“.
In fact, Lee Hongki does not start out his acting path from an idol group. He is a singer who is making a comeback in his drama activies since 5 years ago.
He debuted in KBS 2TV children drama “Magic Kid Masuri” in 2002 and also acted in EBS “There’s Light Left At The Tip Of My Fingernails” in 2004, “Kkangsooni” in 2005 and thereafter from 2007 onwards, he participated in FT Island’s activities.
“SS501’s Kim Hyunjoong, DBSK’s Uknow Yunho, Big Bang’s TOP and other idol group singers are acting and singing at the same time, isn’t it?

“For the same situation, people do not hold biased views against Lim Changjung-sunbae. He receives recognition as a singer and also receives applause with his strong acting skills. I want to be like him, an all-rounder.”
The drama “You’re Beautiful“, which talks about the lives of an idol band and the love between the members, has a lot of similarities with the band, FT Island, which Lee Hongki is actually in.
“Our director also told me, ‘Lee Hongki, just be yourself’. So the character Jeremy portrays 70% of myself.
Also, in reality, I’m a vocalist. But in the drama, I’m a drummer. That’s the only difference. I learned the basics of playing the drum from our member, Minhwan.”

Poster for SBS Wed-Thu drama “You’re Beautiful” is revealed. “You’re Beautiful” poster features its 4 main leads, namely, Jang Geunsuk, Park Shinhye, Lee Hongki and Jung Yonghwa from the band A.N.JELL.

Show Luo about Super Junior and Big Bang, “It seems competition between idol groups in Korea is intense”
Taiwanese singer Show Luo has revealed the presence of competition between idol groups Super Junior and Big Bang in Korea. Show Luo was amongst the Asian stars who performed on stage during 2009 Asia Song Festival which took place in Seoul World Cup Stadium on 19th September.
He revealed the little brush-off between Super Junior and Big Bang during the performances that day. He revealed, “That day there was a little disagreement on the schedule of performance between Super Junior and Big Bang. Originally the highlight of the show is for Big Bang to do the ending performance. But after the performance, Super Junior performed on stage again. Big Bang was unhappy about it and left the performing venue.”
2NE1 from the same company as Big Bang were also present at the event. According to the Chinese media which quoted Show Luo, the fans from the 2 groups left, and Super Junior performed ‘Sorry Sorry’ to the half filled audience hall.

- The part “My music in my life~” I feel that our feelings are exactly like showed in that line.

- Yuchun’s voice is a bass, yet it has a high pitched tone part which makes one great impression together. I think it’s beautiful because there’s a possibility of his voice to pull out a great power.

- It took more time than you may think. We got a close distance with the small sets, it’s like Ultraman. The technology used is similar in Ultraman and Yuchun even tried to be one!
6. In accordance with the title, what is your favorite colors?
- I like black. It gives a good strong feeling!

- It has R&B dance tune, and with Yuchun’s lots of rap in this song, it becomes really nice.

- The completion of the song was during the nationwide tour of Tohoshinki in Osaka. This time, Jejung made the arrangement while I did the melody. We shared opinions just like usual, and talked to each other of what kind of song we’d like to compose!
2. Please tell us the part of the song we have to pay special attention on it ♪
- The feeling is different from if we sing with five members, please listen closely to the harmony of these two people! In order to make everyone can easily remember the song in Tokyo Dome Live, we composed an easy/simple music, it suits to be sung in karaoke.
3. Your most favorite part of the lyrics, and why?
- “Even for one second, we’d like to stop the tears in the world and turn them into smile” – that part. The feeling when we sing the last part is also great, “Like a melody~ (and harmony in love)”
4. If you have to point your counterpart vocal’s appeal?
- He has an unforgettable voice! Jejung’s voice comes easy to the ear that I won’t be able to resist!
5. Please tell us about the making of the music video.
- It relates as well to the colors. At the beginning we’re in a pure white world, and as the song flows, the world turns into colorful fun world.
6. In accordance with the song title, what is your favorite color?
- It’s white.

There were also solo performances prepared for the concert, out of which Leeteuk and Ryeowook performed hot dances with female partners. The former faked a kiss with the dancer through the clever positioning of their heads, while the latter had much skinship with the female dancer who was wearing a see-through attire, leaving fans screaming mindlessly. Andy Lau & F4’s Vanness sent congratulatory flowers to SJ on SS2 in HK!
After Super Show II in Seoul in July, Super Junior’s SS2 in Hong Kong on September 18th was also successful. On September 18th, Super Show II had been held at Hongkong Asia World Expo Arena, it was started from 8PM and last about 3 hours. This is the first Super show II in an oversea country, and also the first concert of Super Junior in Hongkong, thus the concert got a lot of hot interest from Hongkong fan.
Especially, it had drew a lot of attention from people when knowing that great Asian actor Andy Lau and famous Taiwan group F4’s member Vanness had sent congratulation flowers to Super Junior on their SS2 in Hongkong. Anday Lau & SJ Shiwon had acted together in the movie “Battle of Wits” and Vanness had had a time of doing activities in Korea with Kangta. Both of them sent flowers as a support message to Super Junior.
Beside the original performances from SS2 in Seoul, this time in Hongkong member Hankyung had performed a solo song called “Betrayal” of Taiwan singer Gary Cao. f(x) and KARA have close friendship!
It has been known that girlgroups KARA and f(x) members are close friends. With similar age range amongst members and also promoting in the same time period, the 2 groups have become closer in terms of their relationship. The 2 groups have even danced to each other’s choreography on a music programmes recently.
And on 18th September, which was the day of f(x) member Amber’s birthday, the 2 groups have held a birthday party together in the waiting room for KBS Music Bank.
It was known that KARA member Nicole is very close to Amber. Both of them can relate to each other better as they were both from LA America. They had even lived in the same neighbourhood in LA before. And for Amber who is still learning to improve on her Korean language gets pointers in learning the language directly from Nicole.
Goo Hara and Luna have also shown great friendship. Goo Hara said, “We got closer to each other since we are using the one waiting room. Because we are pretty similar in terms of age, it was easier to communicate as well. And we became good friends.” Luna also said, “KARA unnies are really good to us. They took care of us like real sisters and gave us many advices too.”
And the interactions between the youngest members from the 2 groups are more active. Especially since Kang JiYoung was the maknae (youngest) girlgroup members amongst members from all girlgroups, she recently found 2 new friends – f(x) Krystal and Sulli – they played and chatted a lot.
Kang Ji Young said, “It is weird but there are many times we end up sharing a waiting room with f(x). And we grew closer to one another at a very strange and fast speed. It can be a little boring to have no maknae friends, but now I’m very happy.”

SM new girlgroup f(x) did an interview with Vogue Girl magazine while they did a photoshoot for the magazine. And in the interview the members talk about which woman they think is close to being perfect.
While each members pick a celebrity, member Amber picks fellow member Krystal as her ideal of someone close to perfect.
[VOGUE GIRL shortened to V.G.] Earlier in front of the studio entrance, when you shouted in an orderly fashion, “Hello! We are f(x)!” Approximately when did you start practicing this?
- [Victoria] After our group’s name was settled, it automatically came out of my mouth. We were happy that we would finally be able to introduce ourselves like our sunbaes (seniors) did.
- [Luna] After you introduce yourself with a loud voice, all feelings of nervousness went away. Also, it’s like a ‘Fighting~’ for each other.
- ([V.G.] When did you find out you 5 would become a group?) We slowly had a hunch, but we found out for sure last year. We started full-scale practices in January.
[V.G.] It hasn’t even been a week since you’ve finished your debut stages. What was the very first thing you thought of, while coming off the stage?
- [Victoria] Ah, We finally debuted! Haha.
- [Krystal] The days I’ve been living as a trainee, quickly passed by like a movie film.
- [Luna] It didn’t feel real to me, so I was dazed.
- [Sulli] This isn’t a dream right?
- [Amber] Oh. My God!
[V.G.] Who was the first person you contacted after your first broadcast?
- [Luna] My father. He told me not to forget my feelings at this moment.
- [Sulli] Since my house is in Busan, I haven’t been able to see my brother for 6 months, and after my performance he called me. He said I’ve grown so much in that time we haven’t seen each other, and that I’ve become a lady. My oldest brother is going into the military at the end of this month, and I will miss him a lot. - [Krystal] After only saying good job, she continued saying nonsense (laughter). I tend to sweat a lot, and my sister told me to be more careful because you can see all the beads of sweat, and she also said to work harder on my face expressions.
- ([V.G.] In all of your interviews, the first thing they talk about is your sister Jessica, right?)
- That’s right. They still call me by, ‘Jessica’s sister, Krystal’. Well since it’s only the beginning, it’s alright. As a sunbae(senior), my sister cheers for me, and also gives a lot of advice, so I like it.
- ([V.G.] Someday, a day may pass when it’s ‘Krystal’s Unnie, Jessica’ instead.)
- If my sister saw this interview, I’m afraid of what she might do (laughter). I need to work harder, in everything.
[V.G.] When did you first have thoughts of becoming a singer?
- [Luna] When I was 7 years old, after seeing Lee Junghyun’s performance on TV, I fell for it. Since I loved the song, ‘Wa’ so much, I would sing along to it.
- [Krystal] My first commercial filming was when I was 7 years old, and I had so much fun. As a matter of fact, I became casted into the agency together with my sister, but since I was so young at that time, I started my training years later.
- [Sulli] When I was 12, after I successfully passed an audition for the drama ‘Seo Dong Yo’. Although I did go to acting school ever since I was younger, but I only went because my mother registered me. However after successfully passing the auditions, I went entirely on my own will.
- ([V.G.] You didn’t want to become an actress at that time?) I formed a curiosity of how it would feel of standing on stage as a singer. If the opportunity comes, I would like to be both an actress and a singer together.
[V.G.] Who was the celebrity that you wanted to meet at the broadcast station?
- [Krystal] Clazziquai! Specifically Horan Unnie. She’s amazing.
- [Amber] Fly to the Sky sunbaes(seniors). But actually, since I’ve debuted, the two’s activities are on a break, and I was a bit saddened.

- [Victoria] Tissue and my wallet.

- [Krystal] My iPod and hand lotion.

- [Amber] A family picture and a Korean dictionary. Ah, I always carry around snacks. I must always have something sweet in my bag. Specifically, Oh Yes (A Korean cake snack), it tastes very good.
[V.G.] You’re at an age where you want to do and eat all you want. What do you want to eat right now?
- [Luna] Honestly, there are many things I want to eat, but can’t since I am always thinking about dieting. The thing I crave the most right now is pizza!

[V.G.] Outside of the stage, how is your usual apparel?
- [Luna] Big box t-shirts with black baggy pants. It’s the best because it’s comfortable while performing. Honestly, I have no interest in fashion, so I have never worn feminine clothes before. The clothes I wear on stage, is still a bit awkward.
- [Victoria] I also like to wear t-shirts.
- [Krystal] I am also similar. I wear a t-shirt with denim shorts.
- [Sulli] I’m the only different one? I wear a blouse with hot pants.
- [Amber] I also wear t-shirts with jean pants. I tend to wear pants that are a little big, with a hip-hop style.

All the members of MBC “Oppa band” have left for a music travel as the autumn is coming.

Police have finished looking into closed circuit television footage they obtained of a fight boy band Super Junior member Kang-in was involved in two days ago, according to an official.
“The results are out but we cannot give you the exact details yet since the investigation is still in process,” senior police official Gwak Jeong-ki at Gangnam Police Station told Asia Economic Daily over the phone on Friday.
“We will make an official statement soon though,” he added.
The video will provide key evidence as to whether Kang-in, booked for assault along with three others on Wednesday, inflicted violence on one of the customers identified only by his last name Kim.
Kim has said he was hit by the singer while Kang-in has denied being violent during the brawl which took place at a bar early Wednesday.
Kang-in is a vocal of the 13-member group which debuted in 2005.

Hongki, Plays Double Role At “You’re Beautiful” Mini Concert
FT Island’s Lee Hongki will play double role at “You’re Beautiful” mini concert.
SBS drama “You’re Beautiful” will take over the airing slot of “Swallow The Sun“, starting 7th October. Prior to the airing of this drama, a mini concert will also be held at Melon-Ax Hall in Gwangjang-dong, Seoul at 5pm on 20th September. In this concert, Lee Hongki will be the drummer of the band “A.N.JELL” in the drama, and at the same time, the vocalist of FT Island.
Lee Hongki will put up performances with two different bands on stage. This mini concert will be included in the drama as part of the scenes of A.N.JELL’s concert. In order to make the scenes look realistic, about 1,000 fans were invited through a special event. First of all, although many people have sent their encouraging words to Jaebeom, he hasn’t changed his mind; thinking he made a huge mistake. He said that he is still very sorry and too ashamed to be on stage. He also told me that since other 2PM members have worked so hard, they should not be affected by this in any negative ways. That’s why he left 2PM so quickly.
I think the same way as Jaebeom. The reason why I didn’t stop him from leaving is because I thought whether Jay being in 2PM or not now won’t be that big deal when you look at his life as a whole. Some think 4 years of his hard working has been destroyed, but his skills that were built up in 4 years are still remained in his body.
If Jaebeom receives a chance to grow up and become more mature by this incident, he will be able to fly even further later on. As criticism against Jay was way too harsh, requesting to revoke Jay’s resignation is asking for too much as well. It’s my role to respect his opinion wanting to have his time alone apart from the stage, and help him later when he says he wants to be on the stage again.
I think you should give him supports by then. Again, I apologize for not being able to manage and protect him well. We’ll try our best to not make this happen again

TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki members Xiah, Micky, and Jaejoong were trying to make efforts to resolve the issues with SM Entertainment behind the scenes but it seems all talks of coming to an agreement have broken apart. Korean Media Outlet Newsen recently had a phone conversation with the court overseeing the issue.In the phone conversation, the court stated that it'll be all up to them to come up with the resolution as both sides despite talks of resolution, will not budge from their initial stances. They continued by stating that they're thoroughly reviewing all the papers, documents, and evidence given. After this thorough investigation, both parties will be notified of the decision. Super Junior member Kangin seems to be involved in a pending assault case. Supernova wants to be like TVXQ?
Working with T-ara to form a project group isn't the only thing Supernova (Choshinsung) is up to these days. The 6 member boy group released a new Japanese single last week titled "Kimidake Wo Zutto" which got up to #5 on the Oricon Daily Charts, thus showing their efforts to penetrate the Japanese market.
To commemorate their efforts into Japan, Supernova held a special event on September 13th at the Higashi Ikebukuro Sunshine Plaza in Tokyo, Japan. More than 2,000 fans were in attendance and they performed three songs including their new single "Kimidake Wo Zutto." At the event Supernova stated, "We're going to work hard so that one day we can achieve number 1 on the Oricon Charts like TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki has. The mini concert will be held at Melon-Ax Hall in Gwangjang-dong, Seoul on 20th September at 5pm. It will last for 2 hours. Besides A.N.JELL, other performing artistes include FT Island, Might Mouth and 4minute.
Scenes of “A.N.JELL” in concert will be used in the drama and for this purpose, there is a surprise event in which netizens are invited to be the audience for this concert. Tickets are open for application currently at the official homepage of “You’re Beautiful“. There is a total of 300 tickets and 2 tickets will be given per successful application. Application closing dateline is 16th September.
“You’re Beautiful” will start airing on 7th October, taking over the slot of “Swallow The Sun“.

TVXQ vs. SM Entertainment Final Decision
The legal battle regarding unfair contracts between team TVXQ (Youngwoong Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun, Xiah Junsu) vs. SM Entertainment is slowly coming to an end.
The court had ordered SM Entertainment to turn in all financial documents by September 11th, 2009 (today in Korea). Upon review of these documents, a final decision is to be made.
The court has stated that this will be a final judgment and that both parties will not be returning for a retrial, once a decision is made.
SM Entertainment stated:
"After turning in all documents by the 11th, there is nothing more for us to do than await the courts final decision. As of now, we have no idea when a decision will be made by the courts."

[NEWS] “DBSK Are Not Monkeys”
From August 20th through September 10th, DBSK fans put an ad on one page of the HanGyuhReh newspaper.
The advertisement says, “They (DBSK) are not monkeys” along with phrases and such concerning DBSK members’ lawsuit with their entertainment agency.
Also in the ad are the words, “Don’t ask/try to find out”, “Don’t speak”, “Don’t expect answers” with a picture of a monkey tied up. Below that are the words, “DBSK are people with moral rights and decision-making powers.”
Three DBSK members Micky Yoochun (Park Yoochun), Xiah Junsu (Kim Junsu), and Youngwoong Jaejoong (Kim Jaejoong) are having some friction with their agency, SM Entertainment. They filed a lawsuit against SM last July 31st to the Seoul Central District Court regarding their unfair contract.

[News] 090909 FT Island’s Lee Hongki, Filming Starts For Comeback Drama
FT Island’s Lee Hongki is making a comeback as an actor after a period of 5 years. Filming for SBS new mini series “You’re Beautiful” started recently. Though many people already know him as the main vocal of FT Island, few knew that he actually debuted as a child actor. He was casted in MBC’s “Freezing Point” in 2004. Thereafter, he continued his studies and also passed the audition which led him to being part of the band, FT Island.
In the SBS Wed-Thu drama, “You’re Beautiful“, which is stated to air in October, Lee Hongki will play the role of Jeremy, drummer of the band. The filming started on 2nd September at Incheon International Airport, a scene where he met the other members.
After completing his filming that day, he expressed that, “It’s the first time I’m filming for a drama ever since my middle school days. I’m really enjoying it. When I was younger, it was amazing and at the same time, enjoyable when I was at the filming location. Now, even if I’m tired, I feel good when I’m filming.”
He also said that, “Even though our members are all busy with their individual activities, many people are giving us lots of support. And with that, from now on, I will show a better image of myself as an actor.”
The new SBS Wed-Thu drama “You’re Beautiful” talks about the growth of a teenage band and the love between the members. Besides Lee Hongki, the cast includes Jang Geunsuk, Park Shinhye, Jung Yonghwa and others.

2009 Dream Concert Update : will DBSK and 2PM participate?
A staff from 2009 Dream Concert said on 8th September, “There will be 15 performing teams for 2009 Dream Concert on 10th October – Big Bang, 2PM, Super Junior, Jewelry, So Nyeo Shi Dae, MC Mong, SHINee, 2NE1, 4Minute etc.”
The staff talks about group Dong Bang Shin Ki, whose 3 members have recently been in a contractual disagreement with their company SM Entertainment, “Even though fans’ anticipation for Dream Concert is big, it is more important for Dong Bang Shin Ki and their company to settle their disagreement amiably. Like everyone else, we hope that all 5 members will come together on one stage again.”
And also on 9th September, there has been great interests on whether group 2PM will participate with member JaeBum leaving the group earlier on 8th September. JaeBum has also left Korea for his hometown Seattle in the States where his family is. While that, 2PM’s future plans are still not confirmed.
Meanwhile, the staff to the Dream Concert said, “I look forward to have music lovers in their teens and 20s take part in this concert where all the popular Kpop singers will perform on one stage. Tickets will be available on GMarket (www.gmarket.co.kr) from 10th September at 8pm.”

Super Junior M to comeback!
It has been reported that Super Junior M will be coming back end-September with a new minialbum in China and will be promoting the minialbum. And a teaser video to their comeback will be revealed on 11th September on SMTown official site (www.smtown.com) and on SoHu (www.sohu.com).
Super Junior M, consisting of 7 members HanKyung, ShiWon, DongHae, RyeoWook, KyuHyun, Henry and Zhou Mi, debuted in China last April with their 1st album ‘迷(Me)’. They also won the best newcomer award at a big-scale music awards in 2008.
With the great interests and craze after Super Junior’s comeback in 2009 with their 3rd album ‘Sorry Sorry’, Super Junior M will continue with this interests with their comeback meeting their Asian fans.

SS501 Confirms Malaysia for Persona Tour
SS501, which has been recently filming in Malaysia, previously announced hopes to hold a concert in this country at the end of 2009 or next January as part of their Persona tour. Since this announcement, three concert organizing companies from Singapore & Malaysia have reportedly battled for rights to organize this leg of the tour. Ultimately, Marctensia, which has organized Malaysia concerts for Ariel Lin and Akon, won the sole rights with a whopping seven figure sum to organize the Malaysian branch of the tour.
Seven figures... this is reportedly the same ballpark as other A-list celebrities, such as Jay Chou and other "kings of pop". As plans are still in infant stages, the concert venue, date and other specific details have yet to be cemented; however, many guess that the concert will be held in mid-December, as this is the time frame for the Singapore part of the Persona tour. Rumors also speculate that DSP Entertainment (SS501's management agency) is planning to bring around a hundred staff & crew on the tour, which includes assistants, make up artists, hair stylists, concert tech crew etc.
The Persona tour is already well underway - after kicking it off in Seoul on the first day of August, SS501 started their overseas tour on August 13 with two reportedly kickass concerts in Japan. Fans in Taiwan and Singapore are also anticipating scheduled concerts in the near future.

UEE was first introduced as YooBin’s friend on MBC ‘Introducing Star’s Friend’. And it was known that the 2 used to be in the girlgroup ‘Five Girls’ in 2007.
And YooBin recently wrote on her minihompy, “I watched We Got Married recently where UEE has appearance in. I feel so sorry that I did not know how hard it was and how lonely UEE feels. I will take better care of you and do better in the future. I love you.”
