[NEWS] ‘Sorry Sorry’ Conquers Taiwan, After Korea and Thailand
Super Junior’s comeback 3rd album title song ‘Sorry Sorry’ dominates various music charts in Taiwan, after doing so in Korea and Thailand.
The song was top on various Taiwanese charts like GMusic, FiveMusic etc on the 17th. The song is #1 for the international category on GMusic for the 3rd week of April in just one week of the album release in the market. Also the song is up #2 for the Chinese songs and Western songs chart.
Also the song is up #1 on the Asian Chart for Taiwan’s radio program HIT FM ‘Hito Chart’ for the 3rd week of April.
Meanwhile, Super Junior is still currently promoting the song ‘Sorry Sorry’ in Korea.

Tohoshinki single, Share The World/We Are! which was released on April 22nd won the top of ORICON WEEKLY chart, thus makes them as the first foreign artists who places their single 6th times as ORICON weekly winner and set a new record.
Share The World/We Are! also became #1 ORICON Daily at the release date, April 22nd.

[NEWS] Super Junior #1 April Monthly Music Bank K-Chart
Despite not winning the weekly K-Charts on KBS2TV Music Bank thus far, Super Junior still managed to come out on top by winning in the monthly charts for April for Sorry, Sorry. This was their 2nd consecutive win for the monthly charts, having previously won the March one earlier.
The 24th April episode of Music Bank was the accumulated chart rankings for April with Super Junior up against fellow SM Entertainment colleagues, Girls’ Generation Gee (still going strong in the charts despite not promoting anymore) and Davichi’s 8282. Super Junior eventually came out on top with an overall tally of 10,185 points, and it was just 8 points short of what they have achieved in March which was really remarkable.
There were no noticeable tears this time though but just happiness as Lee Teuk thanked the usual suspects, thanking the fans for showing their support for the past 2 months. Lee Teuk kept back his tears at one point and gave a shoutout to Ki Bum (he’s never going to perform, is he?) again and also to the ELFs. The encore stage became a solo stage for 2PM’s Chansung instead as he was dragged by Heechul to the middle. Chansung did a great job of doing the Sorry Sorry dance by himself as the Super Junior members looked on, with Lee Teuk shouting 2PM as encouragement!

OMG KIMBUM AND KIBUM <3!>Super Junior member Kim KiBum, who did not join the rest of the group with their 3rd album activity, has been spotted in a poster recently with other stars like Kim Bum, Lee Yeon Hee, Yoo Seung Ho, Kim Min Ji and Choi ARa. This has also attracted much of fans’ interests especially after a blank period where there were no news of him.
The poster named ‘We Start’ was shot in Seoul city centre recently. A date 2nd May 2009 was also stated on the poster, which looked like a likely drama, movie or advertisement.
Fans are curious what will be coming up on the 2nd of May, and many are speculating a new drama, a new start for Ki Bum after his long blank period, since the poster features 3 male and female actors.

opular group Dong Bang Shin Ki and Big Bang currently are doing activities for a program which will be broadcast in Japan.
Mnet Japan will broadcast series of ‘I Love TVXQ (I LOVE东方神起)’ and ‘I Love Big Bang (I LOVE BIG BANG)’.
Mnet JAPAN made statement through their official website: ” ‘I Love TVXQ’ will be aired for 6 months while ‘I Love Big Bang’ be broadcast for four months,” it said. “The series will capture variety talk show, great live shows, and ended with music videos.”

Because of his tight schedule, Kang In had to step down as the DJ of the radio show called, "Kang In and Tae Yeon's Chin Han Chin Gu". This left fans really sad.

The first Tohoshinki’s album out of four albums since their Japan debut, The Secret Code, becomes two top at ORICON chart. Tohoshinki finally established a real presence in J-POP industry.
A new single whose one of the song is taken from the album, “Share The World / We Are!” will be released.
This time Yahoo! In Music will have an interview with all 5 members. It’s such a successful first interview. All members showed their humorous and genuine personality.

■ Right now you got number 2 spot. But everyone knows that it’s a dream for everyone to get the first. Do you get a pressure to attain that or at least to keep what you’ve already gotten now?
Yunho: Honestly, of course I can’t lie that there is (the pressure). However, aside from rank or position, on the top of that, it’s already very nice to see there are an increasing number of people who listens to our songs. Furthermore, we still need to increase our skill in speaking (Japanese), ours now is not good enough. It’s not bad to have pressure as it will pushes us in a good sense.
■ At the end of last year, you’re invited to Kohaku, red team. How do you feel, concerning that it can be taken as an acceptance by circumtances in Japan??
Junsu: Just like it’s already said before, this is not just our effort. We have supporting staffs and also fans who keep cheering for us. Therefore, while embracing a sense of gratitude to the people around us more than ever, we’re also trying to grow more.
■ I can see there is endless ambition.
Yunho: Yes! I would like to try more things!
■ By the fact that circumstance already changes to you, has your impression to Japan change in comparison with your visit to Japan at the beginning?

Yunho: the 3 previous albums being compared with The Secret Code, I think I can get the difference. The Secret Code, as it’s expressed from the title, has a deeper thought of Tohoshinki, a stronger ties with fans, this album is to be enjoyed by everyone.
Junsu: When we just finished the album, I can feel the stonger sense of Tohoshinki.
Yunho: If in our previous T album we had challenged to different genres of music, in The Secret Code, we expand the challenge to not only different genres, but also the depth of each element in each genre we pursue. From the lyrics and also music, I think people can see that from T, we already become a different adults.
Yunho: The new single, “Share The World/We Are!” is a theme song for our favorite anime, “ONE PIECE”.It shows different colors and concepts of Tohoshinki. When we finished the song, I feel a fun and breezy feeling, the song is so close to our generation.
■ After heard the song, it makes you smile unconciously. All of your voices are shinning with each own character. I can feel the new Tohoshinki.
Yunho: 』はこの間イベンで披露したんですけど、そのときにみんなでこぶしをあげて「ウィーアー！」ってやってくれてすごくうれしかったですね。
Jaejoong: In the music video making, we have challenge with action wire. It’s nice to enjoy the music while watching the video.
Changmin: The third track in the single is a ballad song that is also important, Asu Wa Kuru Kara. Asu Wa Kuru Kara was released when our listeners are not as many as now. As in connection with ONE PIECE, this song became ONE PIECE’s ending song in 2006. We strongly hope that many people listen again to this song! I feel love in this song.
■ Yes, it’s a famous magnificent ballad song. Alright, ONE PIECE has theme of adventure. If the members in this spring want to bury treasure map somewhere, which place will you choose?

The intention of this campaign is helping the children to make their dreams come true.They chose a drawing of spaceships among the kids' to print onto the t-shirt. Korea-Thailand Exchange Centre (KTCC) did a poll on 489 Thai from 27th February to 26th March on which Korean entertainer they like the most. Bae Young Joon and Song Hye Gyo was voted #1 for male and female entertainer and the WonderGirls is #1 for singer.

SM Ent. announced on the 15th, that from 17 April to 7 May, the cabins of 51 trains in Taipei will be plastered with Super Junior posters in hope of winning the hearts of Taiwanese fans. One particular train, named 'Super Junior Train' will be operating with the walls of its cabins entirely filled with Super Junior posters. In addition, Taiwanese fans will also get to take photos with these posters as a backdrop.

When I say garbage, I literally mean garbage.
TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki’s used items from the hotel they stayed at in Nanjing, China for their “Mirotic” concert appeared for sale on the internet recently. After TVXQ checked out of their hotel in Nanjing, the staff charged a fee to let fans get a glimpse of the individual member’s rooms. The hotel staff then sold used items from TVXQ’s rooms to the highest bidding fans. It’s unclear whether the items up for sale on the internet are leftovers that are being sold by one of the hotel staff, or if they’re items that fans are reselling.

[NEWS] 090415 Tohoshinki & Ayumi Hamasaki’s Joint Stage at A-Nation 09
[SPN News] Tohoshinki will appear in a joint performance along with Japanese top singer, Ayumi Hamasaki.The joint stage will take place in A-Nation 2009 on August 1st where Tohoshinki is participating to meet their local fans. Ever since A-Nation 2002, it’s been known that AVEX, one of Japan’s largest agencies which becomes Tohoshinki and Ayumi Hamasaki’s agency, has culture of joining its singers for a collaboration stage.
Just released in A-Nation 2009 official website, one of line up performances is including joint stage of Tohoshinki and Ayumi Hamasaki while the other performers are Koda Kumi, TRF, AAA, and other singers whom some of are not yet published.
A-Nation 2009 on August 1st will be held at Nagai Stadium, Kumamoto country park, Osaka and becomes the start of total 7 A-Nation 2009 shows all over the country. Tohoshinki will perform at 6 out of 7 shows. Tohoshinki has been participating since A-Nation 2006 “Come On - The Nation”.
Meanwhile, it’s already launched last month that Tohoshiki’s The Secret Code finale tour on July 4th and 5th will be held at the great Tokyo Dome.

After Kim Yuna and Dong Bang Shin Ki, group So Nyeo Shi Dae is the next artiste to sing the ‘Ha Ha Ha’ song.
Samsung announced on the 14th the start of ‘Hahaha Campaign 2009′. The campaign is an online cultural campaign encouraging everyone to give support and hope to people around us. The ‘Ha Ha Ha Campaign 2008′ received overwhelming responses from the society with more than 1 million viewers on its official site last December. And back then Kim Yuna and Dong Bang Shin Ki were the models for the campaign.

The awkwardness between Super Junior member Kangin and Sungmin has been getting alot of attention.Coming back after a year and 6 months with their new song 'Sorry, Sorry', Super Junior's Kangin and Sungmin went on SBS 'Intimate Note'.
The awkwardness between the two of them were justified by the members' statements. Hankyung said "The two of them is really awkward. Normally when they meet, they'll just greet each other and their expressions change completely."
Heechul revealed "I've never seen just Kangin and Sungmin together. Their personalities are totally different" and "Kangin's manly and easy-going whereas Sungmin's delicate and meticulous so they're like oil and water."

[News] DBSK and Big Bang to Attend Video Music Awards Japan 2009
Korea’s biggest idol groups Dong Bang Shin Ki and Big Bang will be attending one of Japan’s biggest music awards ceremony.
They will be attending ‘Video Music Awards Japan (VMAJ) 2009′ on 30th May in Japan Saitama Super Arena.
‘VMAJ’ is one of Japan’s biggest music awards that not only awards Japanese local singers but also international singers. Even world-known pop stars like Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey and Ne-Yo had received invitations to the award ceremony.
Group Dong Bang Shin Ki, who is currently active in Japan, is nominated for ‘Best Group Video’ with their hit song ‘MIROTIC’, up against 4 other Japanese teams including EXILE .
Group Big Bang has also be invited to attend the award ceremony. YG Entertainment announced on the 15th that chances that Big Bang will attend the awards ceremony are high. And they will also probably be having a performance slot during the award ceremony.

ShinDong said during MBC ‘Yoo Jae Seok and Kim Won Hee’s Come and Play’ for ‘Super Junior Special’ where he talked about his 20kg lost of weight after a diet and also related episodes to it.
ShinDong, “Originally, it was because of my health, but when I heard ‘Just going to lose 5kg?’, it weighed on my heart more and more.”
He also said, “But one of these days, on a broadcast program, Lee Teuk said, ‘Our ShinDong will not just stop here. Next week, he is going to lost 10kg more!’ And that went onto news articles, and I can only lost up to 2okg.” causing a wave of laughters amongst the audience in the recording studio.
ShinDong then added, “It’s like a yo-yo now. I gained about 10kg again. But right now I’m most satisfied with my weight.”

It was revealed that Ryeowook is in charge of doing all the domestic chores in Super Junior.
During the recent recording on MBC 'Yoo Jaesuk & Kim Wonhee's Come To Play' Super Junior special, Ryeowook had to do a special task within his group, having all the attention on him.
The members said "Ryeowook's like the domestic helper of the house" "always thinking of what to cook today so the hyungs will like it".
Kangin continued "When the members cook because they're hungry, Ryeowook gets upset and said "why didn't you ask me to prepare food instead?" and prepares something for them." causing everyone to burst out laughing. Ryeowook confessed "When the food i prepared is not finished i'll be upset" bringing on another burst of laughter.

Super Junior YeSung is Kim Jong Il’s 3rd son?
An incident has happened where group Super Junior member YeSung has been introduced as North Korean ruler Kim Jong Il’s 3rd son.
On 7th April, on a Swiss tabloid new site Blick (www.blick.ch), a news reporter who was reporting on Kim Jong Il’s 3rd son had attached the photo of YeSung together with the article. This seems to be a case of confusion because YeSung’s real name is Kim Jong Woon, which coincides with Kim Jong Il’s son’s name. Blick, which is known for their tabloid news, have attached YeSung’s picture with the headlines on the 1st and 14th page of their tabloid news.
This incident was revealed on Korea’s various portal sites and online discussion boards on the 10th.
Super Junior fans have voiced, “I’m speechless”, “I didn’t even try to compare their photos”. While some fans said, “The company should demand for a correction”, “This is not a matter of joke, this is serious matter”.

Starting on 13th, SNSD's Taeyeon was supposed to be a solo DJ for MBC FM4U(91.9Mhz) "Chin Han Chin Gu". However, there has been slight change of plans.

The couple KangIn & Lee Yoonji's parents has met each other on the show MBC "We got married"
On the "We got married" episode which was aired on April 12th, Lee Yoonji's mother and Kangin's father have made a suprising appearance. Lee Yoonji's mother brought a bed and Kangin's father brought a gas range to the couple. Therefore, it made them happy.
Because Lee Yoonji's mother is a singing teacher so KangIn made a visit to her classroom and even practiced with the others, and to suprised Lee Yoonji, Kangin's father had made a suprising apperance. Kangin's father has pretend to be a gas range's deliverer and came into their house, later when Yoonji knew the truth, she couldnt hide her surprise.
Later, (people) got the chance to laugh when Kangin's aunt and father showed their unique characters. Kangin's father who always proud of his outward appearance had talked about Kangin's childhood with his aunt "He was very popular" and "He was good at everything except studying" that made people saw his unique sense of humor. Kangin said "(I) was not only an actor but also learnt to have talent" to his father of which he advised "You should have tried in gag's field" and made people burst out laughing.
KangIn's father and aunt had had a warm family meal with the couple. Lee Yoonji and Kangin's father & aunt had prepared gifts and given them to each other warmly.
